 What is Amazon Mechanical Turk?  

Amazon Mechanical Turk or MTurk is a website where researchers and businesses post small tasks that a human can do better than a computer. It can be anything from completing surveys to object recognition in photographs.

Data entry  
Imagen and video labeling  
Taking surveys  
Audio transcription  
Website or application testing  

__How Does It Work?__  

Sign Up as a Worker - Make your MTurk account and go through the approval process to start earning.  
Browse Available HITs - Have a look at the tasks available with their respective payments.  
Accept a Task - Make your selection from the available HITs.  
Submit Your Work - Payment is made to you after the task and work review is done.  

How Much Can You Earn?  

Consistent work can yield as much as $100 to $200 a week for part time work. Workers receiving weekly payments find the work rewarding.  

Earned payments are subject to the workflow efficiency and the task selection done with MTurk tasks rewarding at a few cents and going up to dollars for more complex tasks.
